Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Logistics Manager to join our property construction and renovation company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics functions to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of materials and services.

Roles and Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Source and procure materials, labour, and services from reputable suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to achieve best value for the company.
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

 

Logistics

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of materials to construction sites.
  • Optimise logistics processes to minimise delays, costs, and environmental impact.
  • Manage the warehouse, monitor inventory levels, storage, and distribution.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and monitoring of shipments and delivery.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely material delivery.

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage budgets for procurement and logistics.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Implement and maintain procurement and logistics systems and processes including ERP and workflow.
  • Train and support staff on procurement and logistics procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Conditions of Service

ECOREFiX shall be responsible for the provision of transport allowance, office support and other tools to facilitate the work of the Procurement & Logistics Manager. The job holder shall be assessed based on the KPIs attached to his/her appointment letter. Other conditions of service can be found in the Talent Handbook.

 

Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics management.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and materials.
  • Professional certification in procurement or logistics (e.g., CIPS, APICS).
  • Experience with procurement, warehouse management software and or Odoo ERP.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental considerations in logistics.
