The role will translate approved programme designs into high-quality implementation, coordinate community, technical, and institutional stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered effectively within agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The role will lead project planning, resource and budget management, risk management, stakeholder coordination, monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance, while working closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team to support programme performance, evidence generation, learning, and continuous improvement. IMPLEMENTERS’ Climate Conservation portfolio focuses on environmental restoration, climate resilience, community participation, and sustainable development through practical, context-responsive interventions. As the portfolio grows, the Project Manager will contribute to the development and delivery of other climate and conservation initiatives aligned with IMPLEMENTERS’ strategic priorities.

Monitoring, Reporting, Quality & Compliance
  • Work closely with MEAL to implement programme results frameworks, including beneficiary and participation tracking, routine monitoring, relevant programme indicators, assessments, data-quality assurance and programme learning.
  •  Prepare timely and accurate programme reports, dashboards, presentations, briefs and implementation updates for management, partners, funders and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the documentation and synthesis of programme results, lessons and evidence to support continuous improvement and effective programme reporting.
  • Coordinate technical reviews, field and monitoring visits, workshops, learning events and programme activities, ensuring decisions and agreed actions are documented and followed through.
  • Maintain complete and current project documentation, records and approvals in line with IMPLEMENTERS’ project-management and records-management requirements.

Project Leadership & Internal Collaboration
  • Ensure programme activities comply with partner/funder agreements, safeguarding requirements, organizational policies, environmental standards, data-protection requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for day-to-day management and coordination of assigned climate and conservation projects, accountable for delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively across Programs, Communications & Engagement, Finance and Procurement to coordinate the inputs required for effective programme delivery.
