Job Summary
The Finance & Procurement Associate at RENTBRiG shall be responsible for managing all procurement activities and supporting financial operations of the company. This role ensures that goods, services, and works are acquired in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner, while maintaining transparency and accountability. The Associate oversees procurement processes for all transactions, supports financial reporting, and ensures alignment with RENTBRiG’s operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management
- Lead all procurement activities for goods, services, and works valued below GHS 1M .
- Prepare and issue requests for quotations, proposals, and tenders in line with company policy.
- Evaluate supplier bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure value-for-money procurement.
- Maintain vendor relationships and update the approved supplier database.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Track procurement timelines and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Financial Operations Support
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports.
- Monitor procurement-related expenses and ensure accurate financial records.
- Support billing, payment processing, and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Provide input into financial risk assessments related to procurement activities.
- Collaborate with the Snr. Customer Relations Associate to work tenant billing processes and track expenses against the 1-month security deposit.
- Ensure accurate financial records and reporting related to tenant accounts.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and stored in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulators during financial and procurement reviews.
- Uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in all procurement transactions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs and priorities.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Provide regular procurement and financial updates to management
Operational Efficiency & Reporting
- Generate periodic procurement and financial reports highlighting risks, opportunities, and savings.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing evidence-based procurement insights.
Operational Planning & Reporting
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures, prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational plans to support organizational goals.
- Recommend process improvements and innovations to enhance efficiency.
Collaboration & Internal Engagement
- Work closely with other team members and managers to ensure alignment of organizational strategic goals.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute evidence-informed perspectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager or GCEO.

- Target: Percentage of procurement requests below GHS1M completed within agreed timelines

Value-for-Money Procurement
- Target: Percentage of procurements demonstrate cost savings or competitive pricing

Vendor Database Accuracy & Updates
- Target: Quarterly updates of supplier database
- Metric: ≥95% accuracy
Financial Record Accuracy
- Target: Percentage of accuracy in procurement-related financial entries and reconciliations
- Metric: 100%
Budget & Forecast Contribution
- Target: Submission of quarterly expenditure reports and annual forecasts on time
- Metric: 98% Adherence to scheduled timelines
Governance & Compliance Adherence
- Target: Mitigate 95% of identified financial risks.
- Metric: (Number of Mitigated Risks/Total Identified Risks)×100
Stakeholder Engagement Effectiveness
- Target: Percentage of satisfaction rating from internal departments and suppliers
- Metric: ≥95%
Operational Efficiency & Reporting
- Target: Submission of monthly procurement/financial reports highlighting risks and savings

Risk Assessment & Mitigation
- Target: Identify and document ≥90% of procurement-related risks before contract award

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent qualifications.
- More than 3 years of business finance or relevant experience in medium or large enterprise is a MUST.
- A professional certification Chartered Accounting Bodies. (CA, CIMA, CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling a full set of accounts is preferred.
- Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

- Ability to communicate and deal with various parties involved in a project.
- Possess high level of integrity and is meticulous with good analytical and reporting skills.
- Computer literate and familiar with Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, IFCA.net, SQL, etc.
- Good command in written and spoken English.
- Enthusiastic, integrity, transparency, accountability, passionate, disciplined and meticulous.
- Responsible, independent, positive working attitude and able to work in a team.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
